Received First Adsense Check, Expecting another soon

It has been a while since I last gave an update. I am very sorry about this. I have been making progress though. The last time I reported that I finally broke the adsense threshold, which is $100. Since the time I started with adsense, it took some years to achieve this milestone. However, if I start counting from the time that I really started learning how to do this properly, it would be more like 5 months.

I am pleased to report that I did get my first adsense check, which was for a little over $100. And it is with great pleasure that I can say I have surpassed the threshold again, and am now expecting another pay cheque from google, for a little over $130, all this within two months since I first reached the minimum cash-out of $100. So I am gaining some ground, though I'm still not at the point where I am making enough to expect a cashout each month.

I did report previously that I planned to use some of the money I've earned from adsense to outsource some of the work, so that I can progress faster. Well I have so far outsourced a few articles to help with my backlinking. I hope to outsource more to help boost my rankings in the search engines.

It was my estimation that I would need to write about 240 money articles to reach my target of 100 per day. I was therefore supposed to find 240 keywords that have a certain potential. Unfortunately I cannot say that I have completed this work. I did do some research, and I found a few other keywords. So I still have a lot to do in this aspect of the business.

My daily income has been varying. I have had days where I did over $6 and $5. But this has not been a consistent result. I still have days where I make less than $1. I am positive though that with persistence, and sticking to the plan of writing the 240 articles, that my daily earnings will increase, and become more consistent.

Ok, that's all for now. I do expect that the time that elapses between now and my next update will be much shorter than the time elapsed between now and my last update.

Adsense Threshold Reached!

As the subject of this entry indicates, I have reached the threshold for withdrawing from my google adsense account. Actually I made it to the $100 mark just a day after making my last entry, so this is somewhat old news. Anyway, this means I should receive my first pay cheque from google either this month or next month. They should be sending it this month, but I'm not sure how long it will take to arrive.

So that's the good news. The bad news is that I failed to stick to my plan. I had intended to find 240 keywords to write about by the end of the first week in February. Alas, that did not materialise. I did find some new keywords, but nowhere near the targeted 240. On the positive side however, I did manage to get some articles posted for a few of these keywords I found. I didn't actually write the articles myself; I got a friend to help out. I still need to do the research and find a lot more keywords to tackle, and I still plan to outsource about 18 articles this month, using the money I'm getting from my first google pay check.

I notice that my search engine rankings for certain articles have been falling. I need to try to boost them up with a couple backlinks so that I can continue to profit from them. So my focus now is to try to get certain articles/sites ranking better, by means of building backlinks, as well as to try to produce content for certain keywords I already found. At the same time, I need to still add to my keyword list. I fully intend to reach my target of $100 per day sometime this year, and hopefully months before the year is over.

Struggling along with Adsense

I should have posted an update long ago. Last time I posted was last year. At the time I mentioned that my progress had slowed, as the site I was making consistent income from, fell in the google ranks. My plan was to create two new sites and try to raise my average daily earnings to approximately $3.

Ok, well I only created one additional site. I did not reach $3 per day, and I still haven't reached the $100 mark to request my first withdrawal. I am very close to it though, and I should definitely be able to request my first google cheque in February.

The new site I created is not yet on the first page of google. I think right now it is going between pages 3 and 4. However, for the few visitors I've received, I've gotten a taste of what things could be like once the site gets on the first page, as each click pays quite well.

My aim for this year, though I hope to achieve this long before the year is up, is to make on average $100 a day. I've done some calculations, and I think that I can reach this goal with 240 keyword focused posts. This is going to be a lot of work. First of all, it requires doing the keyword research. Then I will need to create the posts. Then I need to do what I can to get backlinks to each post/article, until they rank well enough to start earning near their potential.

As this is really a very tedious and time consuming task, I intend to outsource some of this work, using current earnings. So once I request a cash out, I will look into outsourcing some of the content creation. I will be spreading these articles over the few sites I have. If I find any real keyword winners, I may also create new sites to target them.

So my first order of business is to come up with about 240 keywords. Once I do this, I will try to put a timeline on when I hope to achieve the $100 per day. I am going to try to assemble this keyword list by the end of the first week in February. This should be an exciting year. So check back to see my progress.

Google Slapped - Adsense Revenue slow

It has been a while since my last update on my adsense progress. I was once on track to making $30+ dollars for the month of November. That is, I was averaging $1 a day. However I barely made over $20. The site from which I was making most of this income suddenly fell in the google search results. Therefore people were no longer visiting the site. My traffic pretty much dropped to 0, and in fact it is still averaging 0.

So my adsense revenue has been down. I tried gathering backlinks for my site to help get it back up to where it used to rank, and there seems to be some progress with this, but I am not ranking well enough yet. I decided to take a break from this site, and focus on my other site, creating posts/articles that will help boost my revenue. I have had a modicum of success with this. I am in the process of creating more income generating content.

Between now and the end of the year, I hope to be making at least $3 per day. I will be creating two more sites, and hopefully I can get them to rank shortly after launching. I will report on how well this goes, so stay tuned.

Adsense Progress and Frustrations

I am somewhat frustrated right now when it comes to adsense. But before I explain, let me quickly relate my earnings progress for the last week. Essentially for the last week I averaged $1 per day. This is pretty much in line with my average for the month so far, so I can't really say I've made progress. In fact, things look like they might be slowing down, and this is where my frustration comes in.

I am trying to grow my adsense income. Currently averaging $1 per day (which I must say is far better than where I was just a couple months ago), but hoping to soon reach $5 a day, then $10, and even $100 per day. Basically my niche site has been the more consistent money earner. For the page that I've made the most money from on that site, it was making money even when it showed up on page 3 of the search results. Then it went close to the top of page 2 and I thought it wouldn't be long before I reach page 1 where I should start to see some real growth in income. But for some reason, google decided to move my page near the bottom of page 5 in the search results. That's page 5! I get zero traffic from being on page 5. So for the last couple days, my earnings have been very poor.

I am looking to recover and surpass my average $1 per day. I hope to get my pages ranking much better soon, which I will try to achieve by getting more backlinks to them. Also, I plan to create some new content on both my sites, which hopefully should rank high soon after publishing.

So it's a lot of work to do for this week. I want to soon create a plan including a timeline to get to $100 a day. I'll talk more about that when I've gathered my thoughts sufficiently.

Adsense Progress over the last couple weeks

Once again I've neglected to update this blog on a timely basis. Well let me get straight to the point.

I am just about averaging $1 a day on adsense. Looking at my earnings for the last 2 weeks, I see I am almost at $14. Now some days I make a lot less than $1, but other days compensate, averaging out things to what I said.

I have not had another day like that one I reported on the last time, where I made almost $10 in one day. But I will get there again, and produce such results more consistently. I have done more keyword research and I have found some candidates that will likely increase my revenue. I have also put some effort into building backlinks to my sites. I even added some content to the sites.

For this week coming I plan to add content based on the keyword research I did. I will also continue to add backlinks. I found a source of backlinks, and a new strategy too, which I think will give me the boost I need to move up in the SERPs. I've already seen some improvement with one of my pages I have been focusing on.

Hopefully the results of carrying through with my plan will take me to $2 per day or beyond. I will report back with results once they are in, and also to let you know how well I am following the plan.

An Amazing Week For Adsense

Again I am late with my weekly report. I need to improve on that. I should probably post here more frequently too, for the benefit of readers and myself too, as it would help keep me focused and dedicated.

Anyway, the great news is that for last week, I made almost $14! Remember this is coming from $0.80 the previous week. So quite thrilling really. However, this seems to be somewhat of a fluke, as I actually made almost $10 in one day. I don't expect to get that again for a while. But I hope to get there sooner than later.

Perhaps I should also clarify that I made this money using two sites. My niche site was outperformed by the other.

Now as the end of the week coincided with the end of the month, I will also sum up what I got for the month of October. My adsense earnings for the month was somewhere between $17 and $18. But bear in mind that I had only started placing adsense ads on my niche site after more than a week into the month.

For this week I am trying to build some links to my sites. I am also looking for subjects to write about. I have started doing some keyword research, and will continue to do so.

Weekly Revenue Report and More

I am a little late with this weekly revenue report for my online earnings, specifically with adsense. But it is not because I have nothing to report, or that I'm too ashamed to say. I was just a bit busy building up my revenue sites.

Ok, so for last week, ie. week ending Oct 24, I made over $0.80. Yeah I know, almost nothing. But it's still something, and I'm thankful for that. The good thing is that I got this with very small traffic, so it really is just a matter of improving my organic traffic (ie. traffic from search engines). Also, I made money only on two days, the Sunday and Monday. I had hopes that the week would go well, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Anyway, I have planted some new revenue seeds. That is to say I have added new content to my sites. I believe they will do well in the long term. Right now I'm looking to see what further content I should create, and I'm also looking to get some new links to my site. Some good news I discovered the other day, is that someone actually linked to one of my articles all on their own. I guess I provided some useful content. I hope to have more like that, as that helps to get the site naturally ranked well, which is really how it should be in an ideal world.

Ok, it's back to work for me.

A Solid Way To Millions

I have been focusing on generating revenue relatively fast, to get to millionaire status in short order. However, I want all to understand that I'm not advocating get rich quick schemes. In fact I recommend putting in place some security measures, if you are able to, before or while you're pursuing the more fast tracked route.

What I'm talking about is putting in place a plan like what you'd find spoken of in books like The Millionaire Next Door, and The Automatic Millionaire. What is given in these books is a long term plan that just about anyone can implement that will put you on the path to millions. Compound interest is emphasised, so you know this is meant to take years, even decades. But don't let that deter you from implementing this kind of plan. It need not conflict with your more rapid plans. In a worst case scenario, your fast lane plans all fail, but you will still be able to retire rich.

You can learn more about the long term approach from the article series, So You Want to be a Millionaire

Revenue Report

I think what I will do from now on is to give a report of how much I make each week. Maybe as things pick up, I will give a daily update. Mind you, I'll post updates to the blog more frequently than once a week, but in terms of revenue reporting, for now, that will be once per week.

So this is my first report. For the week ending yesterday (Oct 17), I made close to $0.70 (I use an approximate figure here just to be sure I don't violate any terms of use). This is from my niche site and from 2 clicks. I'm not sure what my traffic was like, but it was very low. I don't get much per day. Also, this is the first week that I've had adsense ads on my site.

I'm hoping to eventually make around $300 per month from this particular site. Please don't ask me what niche it is. For a number of reasons it is just not wise to give that info out. But clearly what I need to do is to increase my traffic. However, as I said in an earlier post, it needs to be targeted and unique web traffic. This I get from search engines. So what I really need to do is to get my site ranking better in the search results. The main way of doing this is by getting backlinks to my site. So for the week coming, I will be doing what I can to increase my backlinks. I might also add new content to that site.

I should also mention that I do have another site where I am trying to earn from adsense. But so far my success on that site has been very poor. However, I anticipate it will increase as I continue to develop the site. I'll give updates on this too.

How I Plan to Make Money Online

What I want to briefly outline in this post, are my plans for how I intend to make money online.

Essentially, I am initially focusing on adsense. Specifically google adsense. My aim is to have some websites that will be monetised with adsense. With sufficient web traffic to these sites, I should be able to benefit from the inevitable ad clicks to come.

Now I've tried adsense before, and I've never really had much success. Put it this way, google won't even send you a cheque if you don't make $100 or more, and I still have a long way to go before I get my first payment from google. What is different this time around, is that I've actually learnt how to make it effective. The key really is to get targeted and unique web traffic. For when you get this, then you have people coming to your site, looking for things that your site talks about, and since the ads which show up are related to the content of your site, then that makes it more likely that they will click on these ads.

What I've done so far, is set up a niche site, to target a very specific audience. I need to now get this site ranked on the first page of google when the search terms I'm targeting are searched for. Once I get this done, then I should see results. I've already made almost $0.5 from that site with one click. Will keep you updated.

Still Pursuing Millions

Time to resurrect this blog. I'm back folks!

I never had much success with the plans I had spoken of in my prior posts. However, in recent times, I have had renewed interest in pursuing my goal of generating income online, and ultimately to make millions from this. I believe I've found some sound ways. I have given up on the so called HYIPs.

What I've been studying really is search engine optimisation (SEO) and internet marketing. I have begun to get glimpse of success in this. Not that I've made any money to speak of (unless you're impressed with $0.46). But I have been pursuing a strategy to get a site ranked well in the search engines, and I can see that it is working. Therefore, with some more time and effort, I should be able to rank well enough to begin getting decent traffic from search engines.

I am endeavouring to be more successful in keeping you updated this time. I know that I'll be more motivated, as results will be coming in, and getting better with time. So stick with me, and watch me make lots of money online

Millionaire Quest: Time to Get Things Going

Greetings!

As you no doubt noticed, I have been away for a long time. The first couple months I was busy focusing on my grand ideas. Then a family member was in an accident and was subsequently hospitalised for the next few months. I was therefore preoccupied with this. I'm just about ready to get back into the thick of things.

Concerning the other programmes I was involved in and hoping for some great returns, I am sorry to report that nothing worked out. On top of that, my plans that I had drawn up for one of my big projects was indirectly stolen. That is, it was in a case that was stolen. While it is unlikely that the thief will be able to grasp the brilliance of what is contained therein, it does mean that I have to redo the plans. Hence there will be extra delays in getting it going.

I do have a mini project working on, which should bring in some useful income. However, I do not expect this to make me my millions. Aside from the monetary benefit, it will also serve to facilitate the development of the main one, since there are aspects that will be reused.

Ok, I hope to provide more frequent updates from here on. I still have my target of $100,000 to reach by the year end!

Millionaire Quest: A Spot Of Trouble

Yes, I've been absent for a while. However, since American Idol is now over, I have more time to focus on my big idea. I shall be doing this for the next several weeks until I can get it off the ground.

In terms of a progress update, I was hoping to have good news. By now I should have received my principal back from the 60% programme. That was the plan. Unfortunately, the programme has run into a spot of trouble. Seems the SEC is poking their nose in the business and this has halted the whole operation. This could be the end of it, or it could take many weeks before things are resolved.

The other programme that should have returned a large sum several weeks ago, is still silent. Seems I'll have to count that another loss. My google adsense account is now about 20c shy of $10. Things seem dim. It is a good thing I have my big idea to fall back on.

Another bright ray of hope seems to be coming from a programme I joined last year, but experienced a plethora of problems. Seems people are now starting to get paid. I deposited $100 in it last year, and my balance is now over $3000. I need to send in some documentation, but it does seem that I might get something out of it after all. This just could be my head start in my millionaire quest. We'll see.

Millionaire Quest: My New Target

My millionaire quest has been prodding along, somewhat slowly, but things are shaping up. I had wanted to provide more reports for last month, but as you know, I've been working on my American Idol project, and that has consumed a large part of my time. In addition to that, I've had to divert my attention to do some research into important matters for a friend.

Now progress is being made. The 60% program is still looking good. I have a few more weeks of waiting before I will be in profit, and be able to compound risk-free. The other HYIP I joined that was supposed to give me a very large profit (compared to my investment), has sadly continued to be delayed. At least it hasn't disappeared. I'll give until end of June before I write it off.

My adsense program has not been returning any significant yields. However, the potential is there, and I am on the right track. With all I've been learning from my personal American Idol project, I have been devising a plan on how to leverage this knowledge. I must say I'm pretty pleased with this idea. I think it is a winner! I also don't think it should be too hard to implement. Therefore, I have decided to set a new target.

Recall that my initial target was to make $500 each month from just my internet activities. I feel that is pretty much in the bag now, and with my optimism for the idea I'm working on, I believe I can strive for much higher. So on the conservative side, I am expecting to have accumulated $100,000 by the end of this year.

So that is my new target going forward until I feel that there is good reason to up it again. As usual, I'll endeavour to give updates on a regular basis.

Millionaire Quest: First Target Almost Met

Greetings folks.

I was hoping to have received a tidy return from one of the HYIPs I tried out about a month ago. Nothing has come in yet, but I've been informed that there is nothing to worry about. So I still fully expect to receive my funds in due course. Naturally I will let you all know how this works out.

The 60% programme is still going strong. I just added some more money to it. In approximately 6 weeks time, I should receive a payout that will return more than the sum of what I deposited overall. Each month thereafter, I should be earning more than $500 per month.

My adsense revenue is still small, but it is growing. The main problem I have now is devoting the time necessary to build and nurture the adsense sites. But as I said in the last update, I've profited more from my latest adsense project in terms of the knowledge and experience I picked up in getting it off the ground. As you can imagine, with a mind like mine, I've been sprouting ideas non-stop, for how to utilise this. You'll soon see some changes on this blog to that effect. So it seems exciting times are ahead.

Btw, I'm still looking for the lucky girl who will be my wife. Decent girls are scarce these days, as you know. But I am still accepting applications at this time.

Millionaire Quest: Still Hoping

Good Day All.

I just wanted to provide a quick update before the month was out. I mentioned that I was expecting a nice pay out this week gone. Well it never happened. However, I know the program is still paying, but the schedule has been significantly slowed. So I'm still hoping to be paid, but it could take another week, maybe even two.

As to my progress with adsense, I am pleased to report that I've been doing well. Dollarwise it is nothing to talk about, unless one thinks $5 is a lot. Of course that is not to say I've made $5 with adsense. I'll just say that is a hint. But in terms of the number of visitors I've been receiving, and the various things I've learnt regarding the adsense program and generating traffic to a website, I do feel quite good.

I should be able to reuse a lot of this experience and knowledge for my other website endeavours, and I do fully expect that from website revenues alone, I shall be making more than $500 per month, by the end of the year.

Millionaire Quest: Riding the wave

Hey Folks!

I know it appears that I haven't been as active as I've used to be. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Last time I mentioned that I acquired a brilliant idea. Well it is now bearing fruit. Today I made more in adsense revenue than I did for all time. Okay, that still doesn't say much, considering I haven't even hit $5 yet.

But I feel good! I expect things will continue to escalate over the next 10 weeks. Alright, by now you're probably wondering what I've been up to. Well let me clue you in.

As most of you know, the show American Idol is now in season. The popularity of that show is phenomenal. So I thought it would be good if I could capitalise on its popularity and ride the wave. Well that's just what I'm doing. So as of last week, I acquired some domain names to suit the purpose, and since then I've built a decent little site that is growing and gaining in popularity. I just need to make sure that I make more from the site than what I spent on domain names.

Oh, the other program (ie. the HYIPs) I'm in are still alive and well. I'm expecting a big payout next week. Will continue to keep you posted. Stay tuned...

Millionaire Quest: Stepping it up!

Good Day All.

It has almost been a while since I last updated you. Well it's about time, as I've decided to step things up a notch.

I have been observing a program that gives serious returns in very short time. I've been assured that the program admin is not a scammer. Therefore, I went through the process to fund my e-currency account. I'm pleased to report that I've dumped $500 into this gig. I'm expecting it and a lot more to be returned in a couple weeks. I'll keep you posted on that.

The 60% project I spoke of before which I have some small investment in, still calls out to me to add more. So I still left some money in my e-currency account, for the purpose of adding to this. I haven't done it yet, as there might be some other interesting programs coming on stream shortly. So I'll wait just a bit to see whether to send the remainder of my funds into the sound 60% venture, or whether to diversify into the new vehicles.

One other thing. I mentioned last time that I am reading The One Minute Millionare. Well while reading it, I came up with what I think is another brilliant idea. I'm trying to capitalise on it right now. I hope to say more on this next time. If all goes well, it will be a nice boost in this quest of mine to millionaire status.

My other projects are still in the works, but this brilliant idea must take priority, as it is time sensitive.

Until next time...

Millionaire Quest: Brief Update

Good Day All!

As it is a new month, I wanted to give you an idea of how well my adsense program has been doing, and a little update on what I'm up to.

For the month of February, I made 0 with adsense. That's right, ZERO! That's not going to pay the bills. But I still expect this to pick up, and that I will have great things to report in the days and months to come.

As pertaining to the HYIP I spoke about, which returns close to 60% per month, things do look good indeed. I have not yet gotten back my principal, as I decided to compound everything the first month. Actually, things are looking so great I'm tempted to put a lot more in.

The program with the pre-IPO still looks promising. The particular stock has continued to climb since I last reported.

A forex programme that I'm in, which lost 70% of the money I had in it last year, seems to be turning things around now. They made almost 20% last month. Of course, I'm still deep in the red in that, but if this new trading strategy continues with such results, then things should get back to normal in reasonable time.

I just got the book, The One Minute Millionaire. Seems good so far. As you would imagine, a lot of what is expounded in it, I was already onto. But it helps to motivate, and clarify concepts that were still forming in my mind.

So that's where things are now. Still on track for making the extra $500 per month, in some months time. I'm considering speeding this up, so I can move on to making the million. I'll keep you updated on my actions.
